DIY: Minimalist Holiday Home Decor
There are 45 more days until Christmas! Wow, did this year go fast or what? I know a lot of people don't like to decorate for the holidays until after Thanksgiving. But, we just moved into our new house and have been so excited to put hints of Christmas in every room! Our home decor is very minimal and Scandinavian style, so our Christmas decor naturally fits with that theme. I'm also all about DIY decor and projects that are simple, yet cute. So today I'm sharing a quick and easy DIY holiday decor project with you! My daughter Gracie even helped me put it together in her fabulous new romper (buy it here!)
To make this simple craft, you need:
+ A mason jar (or a few)
+Pine needles, twigs of evergreen, or any christmas greenery.
+A super cute romper so baby can be in the holiday spirit :)
We live in South Florida, so I can not simply go out and pick some pine branches. SO SAD. So for my craft, I'm using a few fake pieces from Hobby Lobby! If you live up north, you'll definitely find awesome greenery outside to use! Just make sure to add water to your mason jars.
To add a little Christmas to your home in a minimalist way, just add a few stems of greenery to each mason jar! So simple and easy, even my 16 month old loved helping!
Here's a few more examples to inspire you!
